| Tutor Information and Training Schedule
Free tutor training consists of:
Ø An orientation for 1 and 1/2 hours, and
Ø Two training sessions
(8:30 am - 4:00 pm each day)
Tutors receive:
Ø Certification as an English-as-a Second-
Language or Basic Literacy Instructor,
Ø Free tutor manual,
Ø Support and materials from Mission: Literacy,
Ø And gratitude from your students, satisfaction
from helping someone achieve their literacy
and life goals and appreciation from your
students, peers and Mission: Literacy staff.
